I am not smarter

Are you smarter than a 10 year old??Do you still remember what you were taught?? I am not asking these question to you. These were the words i heard the most in the past few days. Its a title song of an interesting programme "Are your smarter than a 10 year old?". The programme is a different version of kaun banegaa crorepathi except all the questions are from the text books of children aged 6-10. The life lines are school children whose help you can seek. The winner gets 25000 pounds and the loser will have to look at the camera and confess " My name is xyz and i am not smarter than a 10 year old". In more than 12 episodes i had watched, there was not a single winner.
Now stop wondering why i am advertising this programme so much. I am just about to similarly pop off in a media watched world wide. Yep in this blog, right here on internet "I am fishy and I am not smarter, not at all smart". The top five reasons why i deserve to make this shameless, most embarassing confession.
5. Every time i went out,in the past few weeks, i have been releasing all my new dresses.-- Its so cold in here and i have been wearing 3 more layers of on top of the new dress. Now i have none for the New year.
4. I tried to find the expansion of "hmpf" for almost a month.-- hmpf :
3. I always try to PUSH open the door despite the bold sign "PULL". My mind fails to recognise the difference of Pull and Push.
2. It happend today in the same order. Got up late (9.00 am),
rushed up as fast as i could, got ready (9.40am),
tho i usually walk,as i was wearing the winter costume, made the decision to take the bus and left the house (9.50 am.inspite of the parallel processing. I mean the dressing up and decision making),
Rushed down to the bus stop(9.55 am),
realized i was standing on the wrong side (10.10 am),
crossed over to the right stop and checked the direction board twice, relaxed after confirmation(10.15 am),
there comes the bus (10.17 am),
well seated by the window.. bus stops, moves, stops,moves.. but the watch moves non stop...i read marsh wall's stop .. thats name of my stop.. but i could not see my office.. so decided not to get down.. though i was at the door and making gesture as if i was in a hury and gonna jump off. Irritated driver, sighs, frowns and drives.. i felt in his anger in that one jerk that threw me back to the seat. wow.. i saw my office.. and i knew the bus just turns to the stop i need to get down. I was all set again at the door with the same hurried face.. in the mirror i could see the driver still had the stern look and drove past the bus stop.. then another stop without stopping, while my mind was quickly calculating the time that i would take to walk back the increasing distance to reach my office.. and finally he stopped.(10.43 am),
thought about taking another bus back for the two stops and decided on a firm NO (10.45 am). Started to walk back.. The only other passenger who was on bus and who watched me all along stopped and asked me
Are you tamil?
Yes-- why do tamilians always behave so confused in the bus?
Srilankan?
No, Indian. -- Wouldn't a no suffice? "Indian" -as if it was moment of pride that my country was about to miss.
You working?
Yes -- If reach there
Finally walked two steps a time to avoid further delay and display of foolishness. Atlast reached office.(11.20 am).Good, i was on time for tea. Same stern face..now it was my boss's.
1. Top of the list. No awards for guessing. Yes, I had created this stupid,complex/fancy named blog and logged in every two hours since a month to check out for my columbus. Despite knowing nobody is going to search out for this, nor even by mistake will google show this up. ( In the two hours time, I tried to google it myself with all possible search key words).
Are you convinced about my inanity? Thanks. Now please accept my invitation to visit this blog for more jive. Thanks.
